Plot: Miss Marple is invited to London to see her old friend Ruth. Miss Marple was a sort of traveling companion to Ruth and her sister, Carrie Louise. Ruth is worried about Carrie Louise. She doesn’t know why, though. Ruth asks Miss Marple to come with her to her sister’s estate, Stonygates. Stonygates is a huge manor house, and some of the buildings and the grounds are used by Carrie Louises’ current husband, Lewis, as a reformatory for juvenile criminals. Miss Marple meets the people who live there – Carrie Louise’s grand-daughter Gina and her malcontent American husband Walter; Stephen and Alex Restarick, Carrie Louise’s stepsons by her first marriage; Edgar Lawson, Lewis’ mentally unstable secretary; and Carrie Louise’s daughter, Mildred, who is jealous of Gina. Soon, Carrie Louise’s stepson by her second marriage shows up. He is Christian Guldbrandsen, and he runs the trust which contributes a fraction of the funds used to run Stonygates. He and Lewis talk in private. Later that night, Edgar begins waving a gun around and ranting that Lewis is his father. Lewis takes him to his office where the argument becomes even more heated. After a few minutes, two shots are heard, and then hysterical crying. The door opens to reveal Lewis, unhurt. Edgar missed him. However, the body of Christian Guldbrandsen is discovered, shot. Miss Marple sets out to find the murderer before it is too late for her good friend Carrie Louise.

Incidentally, I watched Touched By An Angel less than an hour ago (three episodes in a row) and didn’t see/hear anything that suggested their "God" was radically different from the God I read about in the bible. Because I can also think of any number of hymns and Christmas carols that also seem quite consistent with the biblical God, I need more information about the differences you’re referencing to understand what you’re asking.

It has to be assumed that his huge embezzlement of money from the dealership is about to be discovered by father-in-law. When all else falls through, plans he set in motion earlier for two men to kidnap his wife for ransom to be paid by her wealthy father (who doesn’t seem to have the time of day for son-in-law). From the moment of the kidnapping, things go wrong and what was supposed to be a non-violent affair turns bloody with more blood added by the minute. Jerry is upset at the blood shed, which turns loose a pregnant sheriff from MN who is tenacious in attempting to solve the three murders in her jurisdiction.

Your payments may go up or down but your bank has nothing to do what your property taxes are. If you ask them to lower your escrow payments (insurance and taxes payments) and they agree to it. you will just have to come up with the amount you are short in order to pay your property taxes at the end of the year. The bank cannot keep too large of a portion of your escrow over what is used. If their becomes too high of a balance you should be issued a check from the mortgage company. As far as your property tax goes, yes you can dispute that amount with the city’s assessor office. You would be able to fight it based on the actual value of your house not your neighbors. Your neighbors home value will play into that but it is just one of the factors. Make sure you see that it is even worth it to try because you will be required to pay for an appraiser to find a fair value for your property and it might not help your taxes or even if it does it might not go down enough to justify the payment.

same boat as you. and i’ve had my loan for many years, and they go up. because your taxes on your house is the thing that usually goes up. (and they made me put more insurance on my house) but, that was once. might not go up next year, and your payment doesn’t go up every year. sometimes they send you a paper to make up the difference.

Question about N64. I know it's a little dated, but I'm lost. Gameshark 2.0.?
I just bought a Gameshark (V 2.0) on ebay a few days ago, and it works fine with most games, but one game I can’t make any progress with the my 64 version of 007 The World Is Not Enough. I can’t get the game to start, whether I use the loaded codes or not. Any help is vastly appreciated.
I did try the game without the gameshark cartridge. Works fine.

Could be something to do with the cartridge itself, I suppose, though if it’s worked before it’s unlikely. The other option I can think of is that something in the gameshark disagreed with the cartridge. Have you tried it without the gameshark?

What kind of fallacy is this?
I’ve read up a lot about logical fallacies in argument, such as applying a special case to a general rule, appealing to pity, appealing to the majority / authority, et alibi, but I was wondering what you would call the following. If someone tries to prove their opponent wrong based on where they live or what culture they’re a part of, for instance "You can’t know anything about quantum physics because you’re from Liverpool," or "This religion essay isn’t likely to get anything right about Christianity because it was written by a Jew." What would you call this? (Apart from ignorance, racism, and all that.)

Well, that sort of thinking is called xenophobia, so that sort of fallacious argument could be said to be xenophobic.

Alcohol was a big issue in Cormac McCarthy’s novel Suttree. A man who had been collage educated and comes from a high class family,decides to live his life the way he desires, this leads him to live on a houseboat on the Tennessee River. He has left behind his wealthy parents, a wife and his child. Suttree is in a world of criminals, deciding alcohol was his refusal to die. Mccarthy himself encountered alcohol throughout is life that was a major cause of the broken relations. Many of the drunkards in the novel are his former real life companions. ”I was always attracted to people who enjoyed a perilous life style” (page #). Even though McCarthy has lived a rigors lifestyle, his decision to quit drinking has lead him down the right path. ” Most of my friends from those days are dead” (page). The briefcase symbolizes a silhouette of a successful man but behind him is a shadow of a drunken man battling rigid problems. Although he looks successful on the outside, he is battling problems on the inside.

I’m not sure if this is the intro of your paper or a summary of your paper..but either way…i’ve learned that simplifying concepts..and being concise with your ideas helps alot. With what you gave above…its great that you gave examples to support your idea/analysis–but try to develop it more…
